Pastor Tautu served as Music Director and Bus Driver prior to becoming sent with his family to Cairns on a Missions Trip. He worked as a Police Officer in the Cook Islands before coming to Sydney where he worked as a Security Officer. Along with his Policing Career, he was a well famed, award winning Musician and lead singer of Cook Island Bands in the Cook Islands before giving his life to Jesus.

Mrs Tautu served as the UPCWS Womens Director, Music Director and Children's Ministry Director. She worked as a Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, a Midwife and loved to sing. Giving her life to the Lord in 1999, she led her husband, Pastor Tautu and her son Pastor Ben to the Lord. Today we see the product of her desire to see her entire family saved.

They started Pastoring the UPCWS in 2008 and just recently celebrated the 20th Anniversary of the UPCWS Inc which received distinguished letters from Her Majesty the Queen, the Governor-General of Australia and the Governor of NSW.
